At Grupo Finançor, we believe that by promoting competitiveness and business development based on sustainability principles, we are contributing to a better and fairer reality. It is from this premise that we operate according to a set of values that contribute to our mission:
We work to create sustainable long-term value: for our clients and consumers, employees, shareholders, and the surrounding society.
Our commitment to investment and the creation of sustainable value represents much more than a reporting exercise. It reflects a consistent and determined path in how the Finançor Group assumes its responsibility towards the Azores, its employees, clients, and society in general.
We concluded our first strategic sustainability cycle, 2021-2024, with 76% of our commitments showing positive performance—a result we are proud of and which demonstrates that sustainability is not, for us, a statement of intent, but a daily practice, integrated into our culture and processes. We minimized our environmental impact, invested in the development and satisfaction of our people, and maintained an organizational culture based on the highest ethical standards.
The leadership we exercise in the agri-food, food distribution, and hospitality sectors is a responsibility we take seriously. It is not measured solely by economic results, but by the quality of service, the capacity for innovation, and an offering that combines value, quality, and competitiveness. The Finançor values that guide us – Ethics, Integrity, Ambition, Creativity, Innovation, and Courage – have grown with the recent addition of “Courage,” to better reflect the resilience that defines us and allows us to face each challenge without losing sight of creating value for all our clients, our people, our shareholders, and the community.
In a context marked by global geopolitical and economic instability, which particularly affects the animal nutrition and food sectors, we have managed to overcome the challenges we face. This result reflects the determination of a team that does not back down in the face of adversity — and it is precisely this spirit that drives us and that was clear at the Finançor 2026 Executive Meeting, under the theme “Ambition | Impossible is a Story”. A moment of reflection and alignment that challenges us to think bigger, raise our goals and face the future with even greater determination. Ambition is, in fact, the engine of our evolution, and may the motto “2026 will be spectacular” accompany us throughout this year.
This spirit of ambition also translates into concrete strategic decisions that reinforce our presence in the archipelago and our commitment to continue investing in the Azores and the communities that welcome us, providing the Azorean people with an increasingly competitive, higher quality offer that is closer to their needs.
The path is always one of continuity and ambition. Faced with the enormous challenges that the 2050 horizon presents us with, I renew the Finançor Group's commitment to continue innovating, responding to the needs of our stakeholders, and contributing to the balanced development of the Autonomous Region of the Azores. To all our employees and clients, my sincere recognition and gratitude for your daily contribution to the performance and results of our companies. Because, above all, we want to ensure that we will always be there in the future.
Ponta Delgada, May 21, 2026.
