For over 30 years, Solmar has been present in the life of Azoreans, having asserted itself by the quality of its products and competitive prices. We currently have 12 stores on the islands of São Miguel, Santa Maria and Pico. You can find our stores in Ponta Delgada, Ribeira Grande, Capelas, Vila Franca do Campo, Povoação, Vila do Porto and Madalena.

From the 13th of July 2020 on, a new page in the company’s life will be opened, as a new business project will be developed, after the acquisition by the Finançor Group, a leading company in the agro-food sector in the Azores and with investments in the hotel sector, which will include the recovery and investment in its commercial spaces in order to present a differentiating offer in terms of quality and unbeatable prices.

To this end, it will rely on the partnership of the Jerónimo Martins Group by strengthening the presence of Pingo Doce products in Solmar stores, as well as maintaining its partnership with the Recheio brand for the wholesale market and the Horeca channel.
