In the Finance group, within the scope of its policy of responsibility, animal welfare is one of the areas with committed participation in applying as best practices and fully complying with all applicable legislation. Aware of the responsibility of the leading type in the production of pork, poultry and eggs from the Azores, highlights of the following facts:

• Milk production is part of the project “Happy Cows”, in which the animal is one of the main requirements.
• In the production of cattle of fattening integrally as the legal information, being an part of our agenda is in grazing.
• In poultry the first hour is included as all the provisions related to the animal welfare of laying hens in cages.
• In pig farming, it fully complies with all animal welfare rules in gestating sows and fattening animals in all breeding and fattening units.
