A Finançor Agro-Alimentar, S.A., tem assegurado, por uma entidade externa, o cumprimento de todos os requisitos legais, estatutários e normativos aplicáveis nas componentes da gestão integrada da Qualidade (ISO 9001:2015) e Ambiente (ISO 14001:2015), sendo uma empresa certificada em ambas as normas;
A Agraçor, Suínos dos Açores, SA., considerada uma referência em termos de implementação de boas práticas ambientais por Organizações Ambientais e Entidades Governamentais, é também Operador Licenciado de Gestão e Valorização de Resíduos orgânicos. Este facto permite-lhe através de uma unidade de produção de biogás ser auto-suficiente em termos energéticos.
A floresta Altiprado, o maior ativo natural do Grupo Finançor, ocupa uma área total de aproximadamente 525 hectares, sendo que nestes 40% (cerca de 210 hectares) estão incluídas a produção florestal, as áreas de gestão e conservação de biodiversidade e as áreas de proteção da rede hidrográfica. Esta área florestal tem um potencial de captação de 22. 916 tCO2 e que permite à empresa ter um potencial de sequestro de carbono superior às emissões de âmbito 1 e 2 totais do grupo.
