This decision was supported by a strategic partnership with the Jer\u00f3nimo Martins Group that proved transformative: through an ambitious investment and modernization program, all stores were converted to the Pingo Doce brand, the benchmark brand in the Portuguese food retail market, bringing Azorean consumers a differentiated offer in price, quality, and variety.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, the Finan\u00e7or Group has been consolidating and expanding its presence in this sector, establishing itself as a leading operator in food distribution in the archipelago \u2014 in retail, through the Pingo Doce brand, and in the wholesale channel, through the Recheio Cash &amp; Carry brand, serving traditional retail operators and the HoReCa channel. The expansion to new islands reflects the ambition to bring a higher quality, more competitive shopping experience closer to the needs of more Azoreans, contributing to the dynamism of the regional
