Our actions are guided by values \u200b\u200band principles such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continuously improve environmental performance in order to minimize the impact of activities carried out in manufacturing facilities;<\/li>\n<li>To promote the use of renewable energy sources and the best technologies from an environmental protection perspective;<\/li>\n<li>To promote energy efficiency and rational energy use practices;<\/li>\n<li>Continue investing in the rational use of water;<\/li>\n<li>Consider the expectations of stakeholders in environmentally relevant processes and their communication;<\/li>\n<li>To be guided by ethical principles of transparency and integrity in relations with official entities and other stakeholders;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Examples include:<\/p>\n<p>Finan\u00e7or Agro-Alimentar, S.A., has had its compliance with all applicable legal, statutory and regulatory requirements ensured by an external entity, in the integrated management components of Quality (ISO 9001:2015) and Environment (ISO 14001:2015), being a company certified in both standards;<\/p>\n<p>Agra\u00e7or, Su\u00ednos dos A\u00e7ores, SA., considered a benchmark in terms of implementing good environmental practices by Environmental Organizations and Government Entities, is also a Licensed Operator for the Management and Valorization of Organic Waste. This fact allows it to be self-sufficient in terms of energy through a biogas production unit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The Altiprado Forest, the largest natural asset of the Finan\u00e7or Group, occupies a total area of \u200b\u200bapproximately 525 hectares, of which 40% (approximately 210 hectares) includes forestry production, biodiversity management and conservation areas, and hydrographic network protection areas. This forest area has a potential to capture 22,916 tCO\u2082, allowing the company to have a carbon sequestration potential greater than the group's total scope 1 and 2 emissions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3243 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/financor.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/trees.svg\" alt=\"\" width=\"807\" height=\"844\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>SOIL MANAGEMENT<\/h3>\n<p>Aware of the importance of proper and responsible soil management, and taking into account its geographical context and sectors of activity, the Finan\u00e7or Group considers this practice essential for promoting the balance of ecosystems and protecting biodiversity.
